Simon Cowell might have the most explosive X Factor ever on Saturday as it is alleged that the live show could be a possible bomb target.

It is rumoured that Muslim hate preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed has been telling people that the X Factor is anti-Muslim and that police fear that extremists might attack Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Eoghan Quigg, Diana Vickers and the rest of the X Factor stars.

This will come as a big blow to Scott Bruton, Danny Evans and the rest of the X Factor hopefuls as they were looking forward to releasing their first charity single on Saturday night.

The single 'Hero' and special wristbands aim to raise thousands of pounds for the Help For Heroes charity which helps injured servicemen in Afghanistan and Iraq.

According to the Daily Mail, Bakri said: "Some Muslims in Birmingham are wearing the armbands in support of British troops in Afghanistan. This is a form of muadaat (hatred) of the kuffar (non-believers) against the Muslims and it has dangerous implication.

"Even watching the show – those people are committing a form, a type, of muadaat (hatred). And that action is a form of kufr (non-belief)."

It is thought that the X Factor producers will have extra police officers and use X-ray scanners on Saturday night to protect the singers from any attack.
